Some might disagree with me but I really liked this movie. Though this reminded me a lot of Robin Hood: Men in Tights-only the crude version kind. Natalie Portman was badass in this. She did have a wonky English accent though. Zooey Deschanel is ♥

Aronofsky is usually known for his movies that serves raw, gritty & real topics & it will be hard to process. And yet he would make it hard for you to turn your eyes away. It same goes for this film. It’s remarkable that the man who was able to show the…sensitive,& vulnerable side of a wrestler is also able to show the brutal & hard side of a ballerina
